About This Journey

I decided to transform my sedentary lifestyle after years of neglecting my health. This journey documents my 100-day challenge to go from barely being able to walk up a flight of stairs without getting winded to completing a 5K run. I'll be sharing my workout routines, nutrition changes, struggles, and victories along the way.

Day 90: Pre-Race Nerves & Consistency Pays Off

April 15, 2023

Only 10 days left! Did my longest run yet, 4K, as part of the training plan. Feeling nervous but also excited for the final 5K attempt. Consistency, even on days I didn't want to, has been key. Nutrition focus paying dividends.

Day 1: The Beginning

January 15, 2023

First day of my 100-day challenge. Could barely run for 30 seconds before needing to stop. Walked for 20 minutes and tried to jog for short bursts. It's humbling to see how out of shape I am, but I'm committed to changing that.
