About This Journey
The #75Hard challenge is a mental toughness program that requires following five critical daily tasks for 75 days straight. If you miss any task, you start over from day one. This journey documents my experience with the strict regimen: two 45-minute workouts (one outdoors), following a diet with zero alcohol, drinking a gallon of water daily, reading 10 pages of non-fiction, and taking a progress photo every day.

August 15, 2023Completed the #75Hard challenge! 75 days of strict discipline. Two workouts daily, clean diet, gallon of water, 10 pages read, progress photo. Mental toughness feels significantly higher. Proud of the commitment and results.
Day 70: Final Stretch - Focus & Fatigue
August 10, 2023Only 5 days left! Feeling the cumulative fatigue but also laser-focused on finishing strong. Outdoor workouts in the summer heat have been brutal but rewarding. The finish line is in sight!
Day 60: Non-Scale Victories & Mental Clarity
July 31, 2023Two months in! Clothes fit completely differently, and energy levels are sustained throughout the day. The biggest win is the mental clarity - feel sharper, more organized. Reading non-fiction daily contributes significantly.
Day 25: Diet Fatigue & Social Navigation
June 25, 2023Getting slightly bored with the strict diet options. Had to navigate a social BBQ event, sticking to water and approved foods. Requires planning and willpower, but reinforces the commitment.
Day 5: Early Test - The Alarm Clock Battle
June 5, 2023First real test of discipline this morning. Alarm went off at 5 AM for the first workout, and every fiber wanted to hit snooze. Got up, got it done. Realized this is as much about winning small battles as the big ones.
Day 1: Starting #75Hard
June 1, 2023Embarking on the #75Hard challenge after one failed attempt (missed a workout on Day 5). Resetting and recommitting. Today: morning run, evening weights, clean diet, started 'Atomic Habits', gallon of water down. Let's go!
